CORKYS TOYS & CHILDREN'S GIFTS – YORK KIDS SHOP WITH A SPECIAL TOUCH!

Corkys is a family run business, retailing toys and children's gifts for a wide range of age groups: from new-borns to late teens.  Our mission is to make our customers happy by offering unusual and high quality products, carefully selected and brought to York from around the world. When we decide upon a new toy or gift to stock, we first ask ourselves: what special factors make it stand out of the thousands of other toys and gifts available on the market? The answer, first of all, lies in its uniqueness on the local market. Secondly, we follow four basic concepts: it should delight, stimulate minds, enhance creativity and create memories to cherish.

We are conveniently situated in the very heart of the historic city of York, near York Minster and opposite the entrance to the Museum Gardens and York Library, making it easier to combine a good time out in the open air with some nice shopping.

We hope that you will enjoy browsing through more than 1500 irresistible toys and gifts made in the UK, Germany and France by Djeco, Spiegelburg, Theo Klein (Bosch range), Moulin Roty, Bigjigs, The Puppet Company, Janod, Haba, Hornby and many other quality brands.

We try to keep the prices for our products as low as we possibly can, but we intentionally do not strive for the cheapest products of the kind available on the market. At the same time, we diversified our price range to suit practically any budget with the prices for the pocket money gifts and party bag fillers starting from just 10p!

Having opened our doors in October 2008, we soon realised that a website is needed for the many customers who live too far away to travel to York regularly. So many years ago www.corkyschildrensgifts.co.uk was born! Since then 7 years have passed, our "baby" grew up and moved to www.CorkysYork.com to become home for even more wonderful toys and children's gifts!
